Show Answer

Cicero was a famous Roman writer and orator. He was also a Senator. He spoke not only in the Senate but also in the forum. The forum was an important part of any ancient Roman town. It was the marketplace and was surrounded by businesses and temples. Anyone could speak in the forum during the Republic.
