Siddhartha Gautama is the Buddha, the founder of Buddhism. He was a prince who was troubled by all the suffering he saw around him. To remove suffering, he believed people had to stop being selfish. He created the Four Noble Truths, and the Eightfold Path, to help people learn how to reduce suffering. His followers called him the Buddha, or “The Enlightened One”. Buddhism for Kids
