Question:
What were laws like in ancient Egypt?
Answer:
Laws were based on a common sense view of right and wrong, and on a belief of justice and fairness to all, as the ancient Egyptian goddess Ma'at, the goddess of truth and justice, would want. Most probably, some laws at least were written down, but so far, no remains of those writings have been found. Ancient Egyptian Justice & Government
